Kindly follow below method--
1) you have to use below dax and this will limit data upto current month.
Dax -
Data upto current date =
Var Currentmonth = TODAY()
Var Saleuptocurrent = CALCULATE(SUM(financials[ Sales]),FILTER(Calender,Calender[Date]<=Currentmonth))
RETURN
Saleuptocurrent
