Hi @venug20,
Do the following to achieve what you want
1. Add both Row Labels and Sub-Category to Rows and Expand
Matrix with Rows Expanded
2. Switch off the Stepped Layout option as shown in the pic below
Switch off stepped layout
3. Modify the Row Subtotals as shown below
Modify the Row SubtotalsYour Output will look like the one below
SImilar to the original question, I have a matrix control showing like this with the name in the rows on the left
Name | Sales | Purchases | Total |
Multi Manager | 500 | 200 | 700 |
High Income Growth | 300 | 400 | 700 |
Growth & Income | 100 | 300 | 400 |
Next Generation | 300 | 300 | 600 |
I would like to flip the table by transposing the matrix so that the name in the rows above are now shown in the columnss at the top and the numbers go across instead of downwards like in the table below.
Name | Multi Manager | High Income Growth | Growth & Income | Next Generation |
Sales | 500 | 300 | 100 | 300 |
Purchases | 200 | 400 | 300 | 300 |
Total | 700 | 700 | 400 | 600 |

Additonal Solution: If you want to repeat column 1 values then just create the table in matrix, turn off stepped layout, THEN --> select the matrix and change the visualization type to "Table".
Add both Type and description under Rows. Click on at the lowest level of data to expand it (grouping by Type)
