Hi Experts,
I have date columns that come from excel and I am doing some calculations based on that both date. but I am getting an error message when date is converted. below are the dataset
DATE APPROVED | DATE ISSUED | DAYS TAKEN |
12 JULY 2021 | 17 June 2021 | 25 |
I want to change the Date approved to 12/07/2021 or 07/12/2021 same as the date issued. when I do a formatdate my days taken calculation will give an error . how to deal with this issue. please help

Are the dates you get frm Excel actually dates? Or are they text?
If they are proper dates and you use the FORMAT function, it returns text which will be why you are getting an error trying to do calculations with it.
If you just want to display the date in a particular way, use the Formatting area on the Ribbon.
Click on the column then select the d/mm/yyyy format.
