Disable encrypt a connection to a PostgreSQL DB for direct query connection to power bi

Hi!

DirectQuery is working onPowerBI desktop and try to publish report to  PowerBi Service. After publishing the report to service its data credentials is showing with error. So i try to edit credential with correct details..But adding try to sign its showing an error like below.For connection i tried correct credentials only.

After that i tried another approach.

In power bi desktop itself ,on data source settings option i unchecked  the encrypt connections and tried to again to get correctly report on power bi service.Its succeed.Actually my doubt was , whether my approach having any issue on security level or any other issue may be need to face on future?
