Disable Custom Connector option

Has anyone foud a way to permanently disable the options for Data Extensions in Power BI Desktop? We don't want users to be able to select the "Not Recommended" setting but can't find a group policy or registry key we can use to disable that, similar to how we can disable the check for updates, the sign in page, custom visuals, etc.

I'm afraid in power bi desktop we can't disable some built-in feature because there's no such options. However, in power bi service, if you are an admin user, then you can click "Admin Portal"-> "Tenant Settings" to disable some features in your tenant.
