Direct query refresh is taking long time

Hi,

 

We are in the process of changing the direct query method to import method for which the data source is Teradata views. The pbix has 9 queries in which each of the query has around 2 millions of rows and it is taking huge time say around 6+ hours for refreshing the data after changing the direct method to import method.

 

Is there any way to optimize this, help is appreciated.

Hi @kishoregan,

 

You may try to disable 'Parallel loading of tables' in PBI Desktop options (it's enabled by default):
