Direct Querying MySQL database

Hi

Is it possible to Direct Query MYSQL database? If yes , how to do it ? If no , can you please help me with an alternative?

Hi @sanchit,

PowerBI doesn't support to connect to MYSQL database using Direct Query. If you only want to use MYSQL as data source, it is only allowed the connection in Import mode. Alternatively, if you really need to use Direct Query, you can choose other databases, like SQL Server.

I don't believe that the MySQL connector supports Direct Query.
