I got my direct query report to auto refresh in desktop, but it does not auto refresh in BI service. Is there an additional setting I have to do in the service? I checked the scheduled refresh settings, but it only has frequency of daily and weekly and the time for it. Currently i set the desktop to auto refresh every 3 minutes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
@wpf_ oh I just replied on how to detect 1st Sunday of the every month.

@wpf_ without premium, the minimum interval is 30 minutes. I don't think you need to change it to 30 minutes, it will automatically refresh after 30 minutes if APR is turned on, just double-check.

@parry2k I think you are right. Becaue before i noticed the page refreshed after some time so i guess that was after 30 minutes and auto refreshed. But how can I time the refresh so that It refreshes at around the beginning of the hour?
Btw, separate question but I am trying to fix the timezone when it is published to BI service. I tried connecting to a web api to get local time zone but would it be better to just manually offset the utc time and set a logic condition to change it when it is day light savings time? If so what function that can determine if it is the first sunday of a given month? Thanks
Hi, @wpf_
If you used the dataset with direct query mode, you can only set the page refresh intervals for your report. I don’t think you can schedule the refresh time to the beginning of each hour. Here are the restrictions on refresh intervals in Power BI:

@wpf_ do you have Power BI premium, if yes, it should work, if not then the minimum refresh interval for NON Power BI premium is 30 minutes.

@parry2k I dont have premium. but i thought premium was just necessary for change detection? But even so I do not see where I can change the refresh to 30 min, or is that done automatically when I enabled auto refresh in desktop?
