Direct Query mode is greyed out and how to change from import to directquery mode

I want to change from import query mode to DirectQuery mode but the directquery mode is queryed out from the data model view. See screenshot below:

I tried to go through the source to change it but it is not available, see screenshot below

Then, I tried to go through the file Options setting but it is not appearing. see screenshot below

I really don't know why I can't convert to Direct Query. Please help

Due to many features in Import mode is not supported in the Direct Query mode, it’s not possible to switch from Import Mode to Direct Query Mode.
If you want to modify the connection mode in this pbix, try the following:

  • Click Transform Data.
  • Delete all Queries.
  • Close and Apply.
  • Apply Query changes.
  • Go back to the report view, you will note that all visuals have been damaged.
  • Now, Click on “GetData“, select “SQL Server“and provide the server name and database and check the “DirectQuery” mode.
  • Select the same tables that you have earlier selected in the import mode.
  • Load the data, wait a moment until the data refreshed.
    If the loaded data has the same tables and fields name, you will note that the visuals in your report have been automatically fixed.

@Anonymous , As far as I know, You can not change from import to direct query.

You can change from a direct query to import

thanks, what about all the measures ?
if your graph is showing measure ? so you shoud recreate all the measure from the beginning ?
i have more than 200 measure in my app, there is a way to export them ?
