Direct Connection to SAS EG Datasets

Can Power BI connect directly to a SAS EG dataset? I saw a forum post from January 2016 where Power BI users were complaining about that lack of functionality. Does anyone know if the current version of Power BI allows you to establish a live connection to SAS EG?

    It is not possible to do it currently. You can vote the idea here to make this feature coming sooner.:smileyhappy:

    pdemontigny not currently. In addition, live connection would imply direct query, those data sources are published here
