Different Totals for same data in Matrix vs. Column chart
I am calculating distinct orders with certain type of vouchers and experiencing different Totals in Matrix and Column chart. See attached picture please. It looks like Total performs distinct...

I am aware of articles you posted. I know I can "fix" it but I dint need to.
I just need to understand why same total behave differently in column chart and matrix. Do you have any idea why?
PavelHanus Well, the short answer is that Table and Matrix visuals are broken and have been since day 1 with Power BI. As you see, other visuals do not exhibit this behavior so there is no reason that table and matrix visuals could also not display the correct value. I have an Enterprise DNA video on this subject that shows that third-party table and matrix visuals are able to solve this issue. Microsoft just refuses to fix their broken visuals.
