Difference in scatter plot average and calculated average

Hello,

I have a scatter plot (image below) that measures Gross Margin vs. Discount. When I use the automatic average line from PBI, it shows a different value compared to that in a card. As you can see in the image, the scatter plot is producing ~74% as opposed to ~80% in the card. Why is that and how can I resolve as this will confuse the users?

Both visuals are using exactly same measure and have same filters on them. My discount is simply calculated as

Disc% = CALCULATE(
DIVIDE(
AVERAGEX(Restatements,Restatements[Gross Revenue])-
AVERAGEX(Restatements,Restatements[Net USD Amount]),
AVERAGEX(Restatements,Restatements[Gross Revenue]), BLANK()
)

@jayjani

This is the difference of between average using measure and column(average line).

The logic of the average line is you average the result(first divide then average), for the averagex measure you first average then divide.  Hope this example explains you the logic:

average measure vs column.JPG

For average line = (0.5+0.75+0.5+0.67)/4 = 0.60

For averagex measure =  divide (10+20+20+30)/4 -(5+5+10+10)/4)

 by (5+5+10+10)/4) = 0.63

Thank you. Can you tell how can I resolve this issue? I guess the measure is showing the correct result. So, I need scatter plot to show it correctly.
