You can always explore the XMLA endpoint to see how things are treated inside the actual data model. (For example there is a new DEFINE COLUMN paradigm, in addition to DEFINE MEASURE)

Based on my knowledge, there might be no difference in DAX between Power BI Desktop and AAS model.
