Our accounting year is not Jan to Dec but May to April. I have a table with a list of dates and I need to determine which period each month is as well as which Financial Year the date is for.
For example:
01/05/2019 - 31/05/2019 = 1 (the period)
01/06/2019 - 30/06/2019 = 2
Also
01/05/2019 - 30/04/2020 = FY 19-20
01/05/2020 - 30/04/2021 = FY 20-21
