Hey @Anonymous ,

please try the following

  1. Open Power BI Desktop, when you already created visuals use the existing pbix
  2. go to File --> Options and settings --> Data source settings
Check "Data sources in current file" and "Global permissions", mark any source that points to the new Sharepoint site and hit "Clear Permissions"; be aware that the source might not dissapear
  3. Close the Data source settings dialog
  4. Hit refresh
Make sure you select "Microsoft Account" when you are getting asked to authenticate

Hopefully, this solves the issue you are facing.

Hello, I am still facing an issue with Power BI while accessing Graph API via Odata. I'm able to run https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/users and get the data in graph explorer. But when i try to get it in power bi, I get forbidden error. I tried the below approaches but nothing worked for me. Kindly help.

Hi Tom

Thank you for your sharing.

After reading your reply , i think your approach is when in the past i have already access the sharepoint data , and due to change of PW , then it will help.

But mine is today i try to add new table to my PBI , i am not able access sharepoint folder.

I can access using local drive. but it is not i want.

I also can access to existing sales invoice folder , by put my supplier raw data there , i can also access , but that is not i want , because later i need to add more table in the same folder.
