Detailed process instructions required: How to get in "import mode"?

Hello,

I know how to create a table with combined columns.

[col1] & " " & [col2].

But after that, I need use this new column to join two tables. My issue is that the column I just created is invisible.

I refreshed preview a few times, but I still couldn't see it.

Please help.

@fdavef ah! the calculated column you entered using DAX and it will not show in PQ. What you need to do is to add this custom column in PQ and then it will show at both places.

@parry2k  I tried a few times:

Duration.Days(#date(2023,10,31)-[Endday])

and

Duration.Days([Endday]-#date(2023,10,31))

Always I got an error.   My [Endday] is a date in November, 2023.

Do you have any idea?

@parry2k  I understand you now. But when I tried to define a column in PQ, I got a new question: it can't understand "DATADIFF".

How to write a formula get the date numbers from 2023,10,31 to the DAY I have?

@parry2k Thank you.

Picture 1, table 1 with a column "key".

But after I click "Home" then "Transform data", I see picture 2, the column "key" is gone.

I enter this mode because I want merge table1 and table2 on the "key" column.
