Desktop with memory is insufficient

I have a question.

My data model has grown a lot with several tables and calculations using DAX, there is already a week that I can not update in my data model on the desktop. The reported error message says "PC memory is insufficient" and suggests that I change to 64 bitz version, but I'm already in this version.

Could someone tell me what PC configuration I should use?

Hey @rogerio_joliter,

Can you provide some more information about for current PC set up and PBI connection? (i.e. Current memory size, data gateway configuration, PBI connection type, processor, etc.)

Thanks,

Alan

Hey @rogerio_joliter,

Check out this post: http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Memory-error-when-refreshing/m-p/80957#M33776

Looks like you might just need to increase your data cache capacity.

Good luck,

Alan
