Desktop welcome screen not showing on start up

Just had desktop installed and it it seems to be missing the welcome screen, which in the past I have found very useful, how can I get this back?

Version: 2.126.1261.0 64-bit (February 2024)

Hi @DanMitieCumbria 

The welcome screen for Power BI Desktop has changed after it has been updated to February 2024.The original welcome interface can be implemented in the desktop interface, including importing data and opening reports.

If you still want to use the original version with a welcome screen, you can consider rolling back to the previous version.

ok, thanks for the info, it was the new version thats confussed me then 😂
