Desktop login credentials not recognised in default browser
- 4 years ago
A colleague found a fix -
Open IE, click the settings icon (top right corner) then click on "Compatibility View Settings"
In the window that opens, type " Smartsheet.com" in the [Add this website] box then click the [Add] clickbox.
Then close.
You shouldn't have to restart your computer, and you should be able to access your smartsheet through PBI desktop.
When in Power Bi entering your credentials, you may get a script error, but click yes, and you're good to go.
Hi Whitney
Strangely, it didn't recognize your default browser, I tried to reproduce this issue but failed. Maybe you can click download as prompted to see if it can be recognized.

Hey v-xiaotang, if I do that it proceeds to download. I try and go through the process but it stops at 'run' and doesn't do anything. I also have Chrome installed and is my default browser
