I'm working with a pbix in desktop and attempting to use the background image from it to create a new background for another dashboard.
I'm unable to locate that image within the pbix is in order to copy and then modify the image for use with the new dashboard. When the background image is deleted from the page, and subsequently a new one is attempted to be added then the workflow behavior is an Open File dialog. I need to slightly modify the existing background image for use in the new dashboard.
Is it possible to copy a background image from a given pbix, and if so, what are the steps? Aside from snipping, pasting in to an editor, etc.
Thanks in advance!

After a bit more research then this appears to be directly related to the lack of direct visual copy/paste between PBI dashboard instances. Unfortunate, as it's clear myriad people have spent significant additional time with various workarounds. I'd love to see the internal defect/feature request details on this.
