Desktop and Service do not show same values in dashboard

Hi

 

I have a issue which i had for a long time with a certain dashboard. 

 

I my desktop version revenue and average price is shown correct. When published to Service the same values in revenue and average price is shown. But when i wait a few minutes and refresh with F5 or just revisits the Dashboard the revenue has increased by much.

 

Since the average price is unchanged when revenue has changed and same goes for units, i dont think it has something to do with the measure itself. It is only revenue 2024 which changes.

The stamps are the same before the service changes itself. After the change the timestamp is not exact the same anymore.

 

I hope you can help me solve this issue

    Hi SimonMalberg ,

    Please check to see if any filters are applied to your reports when you publish them to the Service, and when you do a page refresh, it may cancel any filters that were previously applied.
    What's more, in Power BI service, the data refresh might behave differently compared to Power BI Desktop. This could be due to how data is processed or cached in the service.

    Apart from this, differences in time zone or locale settings between Power BI Desktop and the Power BI service can sometimes lead to discrepancies in data after refreshes. Ensure that both your Power BI Desktop and service settings are aligned in terms of regional settings.
    If you have an incremental refresh policy set up for your dataset, it's possible that only a subset of your data is being refreshed, which might lead to inconsistencies.
