Desktop April 2020 Update
Hi, apologies if this is a bit of a newbie question.
I read that the Desktop April 2020 update contains the ability to Copy and Paste a visual to another application and I am keen to have a look at this.
However, I am struggling to see anywhere from which I can download the updated version.
Is the update being phased, any suggestions?
I am in the UK.
- If you used the App store to install Power BI Desktop then you will get it automatically or go out to the store and click Update.
If you installed the MSI generally you get a prompt when launching it but you can always go out and get it from here:

I used the Store and mine is still March so maybe not 100% out just yet.
If you are referring to this:
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-copy-a-visual-as-an-image/
That is in the Service and that tends to roll out to tenants in waves. I have it but a couple days ago not everyone did.

Thanks Greg.
Yes, I tried the same link for Desktop and as you say it still seems to be the March edition.
I did try the Service and it does have Copy+Paste Visual.
So, I do now have access to it.
Unfortunately, my first test with a column chart visual failed as the colours were completely altered.
Thanks for your help though.
