Desktop App and Web Based App - Sharepoint Lists

I'm having some issues using Power Bi connecting to a Sharepoint List on my companies Sharepoint Site.
If i use the Desktop App, i can connect to the list and get the data no problem, but for my team to be able to see the generated reports i need to publish this to the web based app, so I can link it using the Power Bi Web Parts on sharepoint pages. The problem with this, is that as soon as i publish the Power Bi program, the data link between sharepoint page and what is now published on the Online Web Based editor, is broken and it is all self contained data.
I can't find a way using the web Base editor, to link to a sharepoint list so thate the data is always updated when someone makes a change to the sharepoint list. I've tried using the Get Data from Sharepoint Site, but when i go to root directory I can only see the document Library Folders and no List data and can't connect to anything.
Am I going wrong somewhere is my workflow not correct? Any help would be great.
TL/DR - I need to publish a Power Bi Report to a Web Part on Sharepoint Site, connected to a constatnly updated Sharepoint List (hosted on the same site). Cannot connect using Web App Editor, and Desktop App breaks the list connection when published online.

Hi amelsom85 ,
When you see the document Library Folders and no List data in the sharepoint using get data in service, you can just click in the folder, and all the files will be listed. Onedrive refresh will be automatically enabled by hourly.

I still have the issues, as the file is stored in the Stie Contents area, as its a List file you can't move this to other areas. So when i add the link :
https://xxxxxxx.sharepoint.com/sites/ProductionManagement/
It only shows the image the below, and doesn't show any list files to connect to, the folder that the list is saying its in is /Lists - if add /lists to the end of the above link i get an error that it can't access the link either due to permissions or something else, but the permissions are fine as its all in the same work space for Production Management.
If i use the OneDrive method, i have the same issues this only shows inside the main Document Library folder to the teams created folders, and doesn't list anything that sites inside the Site Contents folder. Which means there is no way to view any lists created. I can't see any other way of adding this.
I've been through all the folder below and not one shows any SharePoint lists.
