Looking at AdventureWorksDW
has 2 fact tables, FactReseller and FactInternetSales, that are identical except for a couple of fields.
My inclination is to combine them with a "SaleType" column.

kentyler I think combining makes sense and you filter what you want to see, it is similar to like seeing something by-product or year or month, and it is one of the other dimensions on which you slicer and dice the data.
