Descending Order when using date in a matrix
dear all,
i have the following matrix visual:
I want the the most recent year to be visualized on the left in a descending order.
How can I achieve this?
Thanks a lot
here is a workaround, try to create a order column in PQ and sort the year column by the order column.

Please follow the below steps:
Sort the column used in Columns area (Date/Year) in descending order
- Go to the Fields pane.
- Locate your Date column (or the Year field you're using in the Columns well of the Matrix).
- If you're using a Year column derived from a date (e.g., Year = YEAR([Date])), make sure that field is used in the matrix.
- In the Matrix visual, click the dropdown arrow on the year header (top of the matrix columns).
- Choose "Sort descending".
