A customer is asking about Power BI and its deployment mechanisms/methodologies. Please let me know if you have any expertise on deploying Power BI: SDLC, versioning, deployment etc. The customer is looking for guidance on rolling out the tool to a wider user community.
Also the customer is on SharePoint 2010. An external vendor has indicated to the customer that deploying the latest Power BI product on SP 2010 has significant obstacles. The customer in turn has asked Avanade to validate these claims that SP 2010 will not play nice. If you have any knowledge of deploying Power BI to SP 2010 please let me know. If true, the customer would also like to know if moving to SP 2016 would solve these obstacles.
