Deploy ML models on Powerbi

Hi Guys. I've been having troubles accessing my deployed Azure ML models onto Power BI.

I've ran a model on Azure ML, published and deployed with Endpoint. But when I check on Power BI Desktop under Power Query > Azure Machine Learning, I get the following error:

Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this issue? Tried a few different things with authntication and change data source settings, but nothing seems to be working out.

I can see the model when I try through Power BI Service using dataflows, but I am trying to get it done on Power BI Desktop.

Hi, @Anonymous

You need to make sure you have read access to the a Machine Learning studio web service or a machine Learning service workspace. Please check that you have granted access to the Azure ML model to the Power BI user.

You also need to noticed that :

  • AI insights (Cognitive Services and Azure ML models) are not supported on machines with proxy authentication setup.
  • AzureML models are not supported for Guest users.

Hi @v-easonf-msft

thanks for your message. I can confirm that I do not have a machine with proxy authentication setup and have a power bi Premium license. Is there somewhere on Azure I can check a setting to see whether I have access to this or not? Do I need to have some "read access" to Azure? I thought because I could do the models hence I'd have that access.
