Deleted Y-Axis Constant Lines Still Appearing

Hi everyone,

After deleting y-axis constant lines, they still show up in my line chart. I originally added some y-axis constant lines then deleted them (see screenshot), but the constant lines don't get removed. Is there a way to fix this?

I've tried restarting my laptop, saving and closing the power bi file. But none of these resolved this. This is the power bi version I'm using: 2.137.1102.0 64-bit (October 2024)

Thanks in advance!

Hi @attempt1 ,

Try this:
1- Enable line and disable again.

2- Double click in that line until highlited and then delete.

3- Delete the visual and add again.

I hope this helps! 

Hi @attempt1 ,

It's true that others have reported the same problem, but since this seems to be an occasional issue, I have not been able to reproduce the problem after several attempts. And I went searching and there doesn't seem to be a related known issue.

I suggest you open a support ticket to get more detailed information and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you.

I believe my previous reply doesn't appeared here, but I'm having the same issue . @Bibiano_Geraldo I'm pretty sure this is a bug on PBI interface, not something you can fix (although deleting the chart and creating another one will obviously work).

Hello, I'm having the same issue. Even if you delete the X-Axis Constant Lines, they get added again once you click on Constant Line, or click on any other item in PBI interface.
@Bibiano_Geraldo deleting the chart and creating another one is obviously going to remove the issue, the problem is that this is a bug from PBI .

Very odd situation

Unfortunately, sometimes power bi visuals have this kind of bugs:
Other trick you can try is temporarily change the visual type (e.g., switch to a table or bar chart) and then revert to the line chart. This can sometimes "refresh" the visual settings.

If this not work, maybe you can prefer to report a bug to Microsoft Fabric Support  as mentioned by @v-junyant-msft .

I hope this helps! 

That is odd. What happens if you switch to a different tab and go back to the previous one? Are there not measures in the viz that return flat lines?
