Default selection in slicer should be based on RLS in power BI service

Hi Team,

When we publish power bi report to Service, we have to make some dafault selection in slicer. After RLS, still that default selection comes. 

Slicer selection can't be dynamic as per role they belong to ?

User	Product class
Robin	A
Robin	B
Ryan	C

If my default slicer is at A, but RLS say Ryan has logged in then it should be at C automatically in power bi service.

Note: Only one product class value should be selected as per the requirement. so the option of  "ALL" is not available.

I recently faced this same problem. Since there is not possible One sorta workaround it is to add a dummy row of something along the lines "Choose a Product Class" and publish your report with that selected in the slicer.

Another way is to teach each user to create a personal bookmark.

What you ask is not directly possible in Power BI, but you can achieve something similar using bookmarks. Leave the slicer in the report without any selection, then login as each user (or ask them to do it themselves) and create personal bookmark with the desired items selected for the current user, and make this bookmark to be the default view. Now, whenever the user return to the report, this will override the persistent filter state (specified by you in the report) and land him in the view specified by the bookmark.

No, that is not possible.
