    BekahLoSurdo  the difference is Table 1 Date field is Marked as Date Table hence you see this behavior. To make Table 1 Date column identical to Table 2 Date column simply uncheck Mark as Date Table.

    Hi AmanBedwal,

     

    Thank you! I see it now. In the absence of an explicitly marked "Date Table," Power BI is making it's own default date hierarchy. When a Date Table is created, that is unneeded. 

     

    My original question stemmed from the fact that I could get a Forecast line with Table 2 but not with Table 1... I do want to use my Date Table (I need a FY) but now I have a better idea of things to try. If I can't get it I will open a new post for that.
