Hi,
I've created a decomposition tree visual and I'd like to display the full description for the ceo_plan, which isn't being shown at the moment.
Thanks,
Glaucia
Is there a resolution to this error?
As of December 2025, nope.
Hi @Glaucia_O ,
Yes, I reproduced your problem.
This is not a bug, it is designed in this way.
Best regards,
Lionel Chen

Hi @v-lionel-msft,
This is the version of Power BI that I'm using:
Version: 2.85.985.0 64-bit (September 2020)
My issue is that when the description of the catergories used in a decomposition tree are too long, the description is cut instead of wrapping the text, for example.
I was able to increase the Size of the data bars to it's maximum of 150% in the Format option, but this isn't enough. I couldn't find a "wrap text" option either.
Any thoughts or is this a limitation of this visual?
Thanks,
Glaucia
Same issue as of December 2025. Was hoping if there is a text wrapping feature provided in the FORMAT section, or maybe the flexibility to adjust the width of the node.
I still face the same issue and I am using the version of May-2025
I currenlty have the exact same issue and wonder if you were ever able to solve it? Either by text wrapping or maybe some way to modify the width of the columns?
Hi @Glaucia_O ,
Strange! I did not reproduce your question, which version are you using?
Or show me sample data and I will test it for you.
Best regards,
Lionel Chen
