When we have a decomposition tree visual in a pbix which has a calculation group in it, though the calculation group is not explicitly part of the decomposition tree visual, the value format inside the decomposition tree differs.
1. | Calculation group item has a format defined in its format expression. | The measure in the decomposition tree visual loose its format and displays in the general format |
2 | Calculation group item does not have a format defined in its format expression. | The measure in the decomposition tree visual retains its format |
Is this a limitation? Or am I missing something? Has anyone faced similar issue? To demonstrate the above, two sample pbix can be found in this link with the above behavior. Demo Files
