Decomposition Tree - Field count limit and visibility

I'm experiencing unexpected results with the MS Decompostion Tree vizualization.  I have a business need to include 42 different fields as values.  I've read it supports up to 50.  It seems to work in Desktop mode but once published, I only see approx 35.  I've tried reducing the screen font as well as different browsers with minimal (but some) variations - never complete list.  Has anyone successfully used this many?  Also, is there an alternate viz control that would allow 40+ fields with the dynamic filter/reduction fnctionality  that the decomp offers?   Thanks!
