Decomp trees visual

I am working on a decomp tree visual that just has specific levels with values. When I click on a level to expand the next level, the next level has a colored green bar and I cannot for the life of me figure out what that green bar length represents. I can't tell if it's based on the previous level to the left, a % of some total. I am totally baffled.

Has anyone used the decomp tree before and can explain how those green bars are represented?

The green bars in the decomposition tree show the size of each category relative to the largest value at that level. So when you expand a node, the biggest category gets a full length bar, and the others are scaled proportionally, for example, if the largest value is 194 M, a category with 88 M will have about half the bar length. This comparison only happens within that level, not across the whole tree or previous levels. If there’s only one category, it naturally shows as a full bar. Knowing this makes it easier to see at a glance which categories are bigger or smaller.

The bars show the size of the category relative to the maximum size across all exposed categories.  Since you only have one category at these levels they represent " 100 % "

@RGallagher320 Are you talking about the green bars in under the Level 1, Level 2, etc? Those are just eye candy. The Green bars in the main area represent the number shown. Look at your last expansion. The 194M is the largest number and hence a full green bar. The 88M is about half that and so the green bar is about half. And so on. For the expansion just before that, the red bar represents the negative number -57M and the green bar is about a third of that number, 18M so the green bar is roughly a third of the red bar's length.
