Decimal Places X-Axis on Scatter Chart
Hi there,
I am struggling to get my X axis to show decimal places on my scatter shart. This is not an issue on my Y-axis.
The X-axis range is 0-5. Within that are several values with 1 decimal place. (e.g. 2.5, 4, 1.5, 4.5, 4 for example). However, the X-axis will only go up in 0,1,2,3,4,5 and not acknowledge the decimals. So it ignores if a value has a score of 1.5.
When I go to the table view, the "Complexity of Implementation" (the value this concerns) column, won't reflect the decimals in the Excel table it is refreshing from. Again, the column next to it "Strategic Impact Score" has no problem with decimals.
Any ideas why this might be happening? I have included in a image of the chart.
Thanks!
Hi FarmingBA ,
You can set here:
But you have to summarize the x-axis or the y-axis.
The result of which I use the sample:
Hope this helps you.

FarmingBA , We do bot have control over tick interval. Make sure, under column tools you have taken 1 or 2 decimal place

Hi,
I have not yet been able to solve the issue. The scatterplot keeps rounding the values. How can I make sure the decimals are taken into account and not all the dots are overlapping.
I don't seem to have the 'type' option under my x-axis.
