Hi,
I keep getting an error on refresh.
SessionID: fbff3bf0-293a-446e-a2ae-4472a88fd6f8
[0] 0: Transaction (Process ID 184) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.
I think the problem might be that I have 2 queries and then I append 1 to the other.
I think the deadlock is when the 1 isn't loaded yet and the other already starts appending???

I have been searching the internet and found the 'parallel loading option' which I have now turned off in my pbix.
Problem with it is, that I never get the error in my powerBI desktop, so testing there isn't possible..
I am working on PowerBI reportserver and when I upload the pbix onto the server and refresh the report there, I get the error 80% of the time...
So either the problem is something else and the disabling the parallel loading has no effect, or this setting is not inhereted by the reportserver? or something else.
Googling doesn't help me further, nor already placed questions on this forum, a lot of times it is about SSMS, but I am sure the problem isn't there.
Anyone who can help me?
KR
Niki
@Niki I recently encountered failure with this error. I think once you upload a report to the report server, the parallel load setting is not honored. That is the reason we never get error in PBI desktop.
