    1. the data in the link file you#ll need to chnage table name to dimdate and add a date hierarchy to the sales table....

     

    also i have managed to get t his far - but the measure only gives me the current period 12 months rolling...

    2. i want to show two visuals one in a clustered bar chart showing the previous 12 period and secondaly a card that dynamically changes to reflect the current month only...

VAR MonthsToLookBack = 12
VAR DataTableDate =
    MAX ( 'DimDate'[Date] )
