Dax calculation - MTD as of yesterday

I need to have a calculation that will sum up a measure and give me the MTD value, but I need MTD to be as of yesterday, not today. My concern is for the first of the month. If it's November 1st, I need to have this show SUM(Amount) from Oct 1-31, then on Nov 2 it will show SUM(Amount) from Nov 1 only.
