Dax Summarized Table gets error o refresh

HI guys,

The below dax table is running fine on desktop, but when scheduled refresh happens on service, I get the attached error

The query referenced calculated table 'Summarised Sales Figures' which does not hold any data because it needs to be recalculated or refreshed.

    Hi majdkaid22 ,

It seems that you have refresh problems in power bi service.

Based on the error message, I'm afraid that the underlying data source is not refreshed completely as the calculated table need to be calculated based on the fact tables.

For you case, you'd better open the report in power bi desktop and click refresh button to check if you will have this error, if you don't have the error, you could republishthe report to power bi service.

    Best  Regards,

    Cherry

v-piga-msft  thanks for your reply. When dataset is refreshed on the desktop, I get no error whatsoever.  It's only happening when scheuled refesh on the service triggers. sometime I get the results on the service without error, and some other times, I get the error mentioned earlier.

I understand this has to do with refresh is not being 100% on the dataset. What is the solution or workaround for this?

This seems more of Power BI service refresh issue?

        Hi majdkaid22 ,

For your scenario, I'm afraid that you'd better create a support ticket in power bi support to get the most efficient solution.(If you have power bi pro license that is for free.)

        Best Regards,
