Dax Query not giving results as expected

Hello guys, I am running this DAX query  EVALUATE   FILTER(Sales, CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Quantity]),Sales[ProductKey]=1))   I am not getting expected results as per explanation in powerbi document...

    Dhruvkh What's the data type of [ProductKey]? If it is text so wrap it inside " " like below:

     

    EVALUATE
      FILTER(Sales, CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Quantity]),Sales[ProductKey]="1"))

    And here is the result of DAX Query:

     You can check whether your data has something different with my sample data to find the cause of problem.

Hi MFelix Thanks for your reply but I am not getting rows for ProductKey = 1. Instead I am getting some random rows of my sales table.

Hi Dhruvkh ,

 

Without having access to the data model is difficult to understand what can be happening, the code that you shared should give that result.

 

Can you please share a mockup data or sample of your PBIX file. You can use a onedrive, google drive, we transfer or similar link to upload your files.

If the information is sensitive please share it trough private message.
