Good morning experts, I have a table with field MISGroup that contains 0,3,12 or 24 in it. For the following measure, how do I just add "where MISGroup=3" IPTV = IF(ISBLANK([Total By MIS]) ...

7 years agomukhan169 try this
Sum Sales = VAR s = CALCULATE( SUM(Table[Sales]), Table[MISGroup]<>3) RETURN IF( ISBLANK(s), 0, s )

7 years agoparry2k thank you again.
I just tried this
IPTV Test = CALCULATE(TRUE()|Claims[MISGroup]=3)
so I can later check for true or false in my if condition.
It produces that result. I know I am missing something very basic. it should be false for 12. again greatly appriciate your help.

mukhan169 to be very honest, without looking at sample data it is very hard to provide the solution. If you can share sample data in excel will help a lot. It will save both of our time.

I have sample data file loaded here
this is a very smart part of a bigger problem I am trying to solve.
its a chart for 3,12 and 24 MIS which are not supposed to cross over each other. I only want to apply formula for 3 mis group for now.

Hi mukhan169
You may add formula ...&&MAX(Claims[MISGroup])=3.Test it with your sample file as below.
