DatesMTD query help please ?

HI Team,   i have data set with 2 years of info when i use datesMTD i get the current month info , which is great   However if an user selects 2-3 months, i does not work intutively ( only shows...

Those other months are fully in the past, so MTD is not required.  Or are you planning to compare these like-for-like, with the same number of days as in your current month?  (Which has all kinds of skewing issues, btw).
