Date slicer - recent change in functionality

Hi,

I'm not overly techy, so hopefully this makes sense!...

My users have noted some recent changes in the way date slicers are working.

I have some simple date slicers on some of my pages:

They are drawing from a data source that only includes the current academic year's dates, and allowing users to select dates from the start of the year, up to the previous day:

Previously, when I upload to the online service, all the slicers are 'fully open' (ie the max range possible is selected). This was then the default in the online version. So when opening the page online, my users would always have the full year selected, unless they changed it themselves. This was ideal, as it allowed users to default to seeing data for the whole academic year, and they could quickly check the report without any additional effort.

This has changed recently. Now, the default max date is whatever it was when I uploaded it (the range updates as it should, but the default max date no longer automatically moves up), and users have to manaully change the max date each day.

Is this a change in functionality, or is it likely I've changed something somewhere and 'broken' it? Maybe I've accidentally synced some visuals although I'm not sure how to check?

Thanks,

John
