Date slicer only up to today's date

Hello!

My data has dates from January 1 to December 31, so my current date slicer has also the same range.

How do I make a slicer with a start date still January 1, but the end date is the date today?

Thanks!

Dates Till Today = IF(table[Datecolumn] < TODAY(), table[Datecolumn], BLANK()) then apply filter to remove blank from the slicer
