Date only or Time only

Hi 

I have a column which has the date and time. I want to have date only or time only. In power Query, I see that can be achived using 2 ways? Which on is the correct one? Please see screenshot below:

Hi  @lastnn30 ,

In the first screenshot, you can follow the functions provided above to find the year, month, and day of different conditions.

 

For example, Year: Year – Start Year -- End of Year.

If you want to format Date and Time directly, you can use the second one directly

Right-click the column – Change Date – Date/Time

In the first screenshot, you can follow the functions provided above to find the year, month, and day of different conditions.

 

For example, Year: Year – Start Year -- End of Year.
