Date groupping problem

Hello

I would like to ask for some help.

I have a date filter based on a date table and i have a sales table with sales data. The two tables are conntected (sales.date = dates.date). Also i have a parameter called "interval filter" where user can enter only 1 whole number.

I would like to have a matrix that looks like this

ASD01 | Product 1 | Sales between 2023.04.01 - 2023.04.05 | Sales between 2023.04.06 - 2023.04.10 | and so on..
ASD02 | Product 2 | Sales between 2023.04.01 - 2023.04.05 | Sales between 2023.04.06 - 2023.04.10 | and so on..

ASD03 | Product 3 | Sales between 2023.04.01 - 2023.04.05 | Sales between 2023.04.06 - 2023.04.10 | and so on..

The colums are based on grouping the sales by date and the user defined parameter. In other words if the user enter 3 as the parameter value, i would like to group sales value between 3 days interval, if a user enter 18 i would like to group sales value between 18 days iterval, each interval is one column. The grouping starting point should be the min date value on the filter, so if the filter is set to 2023.04.01 that is day 0.

i have the measure that sums up the sales value and can group them by week numbers, but i would like to have a dynamic groupping.

Is there a solution for this problem?

Thank you.

Hi @Akos9207

The difficulty is that the number of columns added to a table or matrix visual cannot be dynamic. According to your requirement, the number of groups are dynamic according to users' input for the interval parameter, which poses the difficulty. Frustrately I cannot think of a possible solution as so far. Hoping to see any idea and insight from other community users!
