Date formatting issue in slicer
Hi everyone,
I'm having issues with the dates in my slicer showing as MM/DD/YYYY. As you can see the date in my table and data is all showing correctly as DD/MM/YYYY, its just the Date slicer that seems to be different. I've checked my regional settings etc and all seem to be correct and have read other posts on the topic but none that seem to have had a solution that works for me. Im having trouble finding how to just change the way this slicer is displaying the date?
thanks in advance for any help.

Change your time format in Region settings . As the picture shows .
Then change the Date Format with “dd/mm/yyyy” in Desktop .
The final result is as shown :

Anonymous What date format does your computer show? Power BI slicers should use your computer date format in desktop and browser format in service/PowerBI.com
If you're on a Windows computer, right click on the date time and choose > Adjust date/time
Then select Region from the menu and choose a regional format that uses dd/mm/yyyy (such as New Zealand):
Finally, RESTART Power BI desktop to see the changes.
You should also try using a Date table instead of the date from the fact table: https://excelwithallison.blogspot.com/2020/04/dimdate-what-why-and-how.html
