Date format in display

How can I display the date in dd/mm/yyyy format?  The data in the table "shows" the date in dd/mm/yyyy format.  But when it is displayed on the report, it is presented in mm/dd/yyyy format.

    Hi ILoveAutomating ,

     

    When importing flat files into powerbi, they are processed according to local default settings.
    If you want to keep the date form in the REPORT consistent with the format in the table, you can set it in the following area.

I am adding the 2 screenshots to show how the data is displayed and how the same field when used in a report is displayed.

    LOCALE option is available in Power Query editor
    Also region setting available in Power BI option

      The screenshot that I shared is from Power Query.

      Also, in the Power BI options, I have checked the regional settings.  I also changed them to other countries with dd/mm/yyyy usage, but the display in the report always remains mm/dd/yyyy.

       

      In case my initial message was confusing:

      the data imported in PowerBI is dd/mm/yyyy (see my screenshot).  It is only when the data is displayed on a report that it is in mm/dd/yyyy format.
