Date format in chart legend

Hi all,

In the below 2 charts I have used the same fields; Month & Sales. Month is a Date field & is formatted as mmm yyyy but when added to the legend the format reverts to Date/Time (dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss), does anyone know how to fix this so the legend reflects the format of the field as defined in the model?

    Hi wynhodgkiss 

    I have created new column as month and set it to date data type then choose from the format setting like below:

     

    I can see the same format under lengeds also.

     

    Please try that.

    Unfortunately not, it's a composite model and so I can't scrub any sensitive data so can't share it. I'll try it from scratch in a new pbix and see if I have the same problem
