Date format in Dashboard

I'm developing a Power BI Report in VM, the date format of the field was date and time which I changed to date, the format is mm-dd-yyyy which is not a problem but in the report view a different format of date is coming. Since I'm developing the report in a VM no Table view option is there and I've changed the date format through Transfrom Data. I'm attaching screenshots of what I'm facing.
